I used to get SOOOO mad at the kids that would pick up these spiders and proceed to rip off their legs. What is wrong with people?
 Anyways, I've always loved these guys and their spindly little legs, and it's always good to know that they aren't going to bite me. XD I recommend full view! Yep, yep!  2008-2009. Comments
 I hate spiders - Period! But I do like to keep the Daddy long legs around the house because they are a natural enemy of another spider we get in Australia called the 'Huntsman'. They are massive and hairy and always appear at just the wrong time. Well done on the focus point in this shot. Im sure you had to get pretty close

 I dunno, they just seem so non threatening. I don't know why people have to torture them.-- What if there were no hypothetical questions? Probably because they ARE non-threatening. I mean, what is it gonna do except scurry away? In my youth I used to tell kids at school that an Uncle of mine died from a Daddy Long Legs just to keep them from harming more of them. Of course, it was a straight up lie and eventually got me in trouble but whatever! I saved the little cuties out there!

I read this last night but said I'd reply back tomorrow and went to bed. Today I went to the zoo and inside one of the exhibits was a little tank with the Huntsman spider!!! I couldn't find the little bastard so I couldn't take a picture and put it on Facebook and tag you in it.

 Hahah, it wasn't sweet when I got in trouble and the administrative staff of the school along with my mother didn't understand why I was attempting to save a spider from harm.
