So, I had to take that certification exam and I'm pretty confident that I didn't do so well. It was a vicious little thing and the conditions affecting the testing environment were none too friendly. When I showed up at the school there was no parking so I had to drive around and park on a side road. It came to the point where I thought I would be late for the exam so I just parked and ran for the facility. So, while taking the exam I was convinced I was going to go back to a car that was either being towed or had a ticket on it. That, or if it was gone because the neighborhood was none too friendly. Along with that the room was freezing and I was wet from running in the rain. Yay. Along with that the seats were extremely uncomfortable, the proctor was a shifty, noisy fool and there was an older man that continually stared at me throughout the exam. It got to the point that at the end of the exam I threw my hands up at the ordeal and plowed through the rest as well as I possibly could. Thankfully my car was waiting for me, still in one piece, and without a ticket tucked under the windshield.
Sunday was a slightly better day. I went to my father's and had an AWESOME meal. Tearing apart crab really vents ones frustrations. Then my sister and I filled thermoses with alcohol and went to the park to watch a rather dull sunset but a sunset none the less.
Today was totally awesome. I got to go to the zoo! I got some decent shots and as soon as I find the time to load 'em on the comp and do everything I need to to make them look presentable I'll start putting them up. My feet now hurt, but it's a good hurt.
Tomorrow is the damn dentist again for him to putz around with my teeth again. All well.
Then, FRIDAY, I am going to JERSEY!!!! Where I will be hanging out for several days with EvilFire4321 and mixing up all kinds of trouble in the process. I'm not sure how often I'll be on during this time so bear with me. I'm sure we'll be consistently on at least once a day but I don't know what she has planned. Woot, woot!

"Isn't it strange the way things can change?
The life that you lead turned on its head.
Suddenly someone means more than you felt before.
Her house and its yard turns into home.
I'm sorry but I meant to say,
Many things along the way.
This ones for you.
Have I told you I ache?
Have I told you I ache?
Have I told you I ache for you?"

Long Time No Talk
Holy crud, okay. Well, first off, hello! It's been a crazy long time since I last updated my journal. As some of you know, if any of you still follow me, I've been trying to get back into submitting deviations and working on my art (if you can call it that). Mostly, it's therapeutic. The last three years of my life or so I was in a funk, in and out of depression and the like. I am much better now, to be sure. It took breaking up with my boyfriend to free myself from the albatross around my neck. I won't get into it, but he was a poison in my life. In addition, I have secured myself a decent-paying job for a good company so I'm financ
End of the Year
Another year approaches its end, another year beckons to be begun. And it is with this end of the year that I noticed that I recently passed 60,000 pageviews, which ain't too shabby considering my sporadic presence here. 45,000 comments, as well. And 900 deviatons! :lmao: And I couldn't have done it without every single one of you. And so I send you my thanks and love for always being there to support me a little or a lot. It helps to make it worthwhile to continue creating and sharing my adventures.
I wish you all the happiest of holidays, whatever you might celebrate, and a splendid new year! Much love and light!

I'm Alive
I promise, I promise I'm alive. I know I'm still sporadic and for that I apologize. Life is still hard, life is still throwing punches, but I'd like to think I'm throwing them right back and keeping as much of my sanity as possible in the process.
Photographically I've been pretty stagnant, which is scary. My gear is getting old, too, which is also a scary thought. I get worried that I'm losing my touch, but then I have to just relax and breathe. I did get to shoot two weddings this year, which is crazy cool. And stressful. But it was for friends or family of friends. That was a relief, at least, since they weren't crazy brides and g
A Summer Update
I have to first apologize for not updating everyone sooner. Unless you follow me on Facebook, you would have no idea how I am doing and I have been sporadic, at best, here on dA. I am slowly recovering from the financial struggle that 2016 has presented to me. My roof is holding up just fine and so is my dog. Sagan, the dog that had surgery on his leg, seems to have recovered fully. He must have been taking it easy for the last few months because now he is showing an increase in energy. He also just recently turned one and his muscles are really beginning to develop as he is a very, very large dog. I take him and my other dog, Sophie,
